Mo

Mo is a passionate and experienced field guide whose love for the wilderness began with childhood trips to Kruger, especially those shared with his late grandfather. 

He began his professional journey in 2009, completing his guiding qualification through a training institution near Hoedspruit, followed by guiding roles in Welgevonden, the Mdluli Concession, and Pilanesberg.

Since 2013, Mo has built an extensive career in and around the Kruger National Park, guiding at Mjejane, freelancing across multiple camps, and leading activities ranging from backpack and wilderness trails to walking safaris, bike safaris and game drives. 

He later spent four years with Rhino Walking Safaris before guiding in Cape Town in 2022–23.

Mo returned to the Lowveld in 2023 and is now based in Hoedspruit, where he continues to share the bush’s beauty, perspective and grounding power with guests from around the world.
